Derek Kennedy > John had to go pee and couldn't wait so we stopped here. Photo shot through the windshield so not 100% sharp. This is on Highway #1 about 15 kilometers east of Canmore Alberta.

Derek Kennedy > We stopped here hoping we could walk to a river, but when we saw the steep hill we would have to climd down - and back up again - we decided to pass.

Derek Kennedy > Wanted to capture a photo of the rock formations of this mountain. (highway 40)

Derek Kennedy > This CP Rail bridge - the High Level Bridge - is 5,327 feet long (or 1 mile and 47 feet), and 314 feet above the riverbed. It is located in Lethbridge, Alberta.

I couldn't get all of the bridge in this photo - maybe 300 feet is still to the right of the cameras position. No trains running at the time of the photo which was too bad.

We where here the evening before but a storm brewed up - including hail a little smaller than marbles.

Derek Kennedy > On one section of road that I travel on going to and from work, there is a small marshy area. If you are lucky - in the early morning hours or late in the evening, you might see this moose. If you are really lucky, she might have a calf with her as well.

Photo not the greatest (like having two trees growing from her back) as I was in a moving vehicle, and the moose was slowly moving away from me. This was the best photo as far as sharpness is concerned that I was able to get.

I placed the photo here as I do not have a 'wildlife' gallery. I don't have enough wildlife photos to grant their own gallery.
