Derek Kennedy > I saw the back of this old building from the highway and a couple weeks ago I tried to find how I could drive up to it but I missed the road. Today I found it.

After taking a few photos, I went to the house next door (directly behind the house as you see it here) where the current owner lives. He was kind enough to grant me permission to occasionally enter the property to photograph the old homestead under one condition: that he gets a print.

He indicated that he was in fact born in the home 80 years ago. He also indicated that the house was built by his father starting in 1917.
