The Kennedy Family > A CH-139 (Bell 206B Jetranger) sits on the Dryden ramp as the crew of this helicopter and a second CH-139 head out for lunch.

Drydens new runway designator sign in the background - our runways used to be 11-29.

The Kennedy Family > This De Havilland Canada CC-115 Buffalo (DHC-5D) (serial number 10) is sitting on the ramp at the Dryden airport after blowing an engine - as evident by the propellers: one engine is feathered, the other is not.

It will be sitting here for about a week waiting for a boxed engine to be airlifted by a Hercules.

The Kennedy Family > Using the call sign 'Gonzo', this De Havilland Canada CT-142 Dash 8 (DHC-8-102) flies overhead the DRA on a training flight.

I didn't crop this one tightly as I wanted some sky around the aircraft.

The Kennedy Family > A Canadian Armed Forces C-130 Hercules doing some spring training flights in the Dryden area.

The Kennedy Family > A CH-124 Sea King helicopter. Hard to get a good shot of a gray subject, in the rain, on a gray overcast day. Canon 20D, Canon EF 70-300 IS USM

The Kennedy Family > Canadian Air Force Canadair CC-144B Challenger. On this flight it was referred to as 'CanForce 1' as Prime Minister Stephen Harper was on board.

The Kennedy Family > A Harvard 4 (Serial No CCF4 112), built in 1952, came to Dryden for fuel.

Photo taken with a Leica M5 film camera (made between 1971 and 1975). This photo was also from the first roll of film that I've put in that camera (2005?).

Usually I try to have a digital camera at work at all times but on this day I only had the M5. Negative scanned with a Nikon Coolscan IV ED.

The Kennedy Family > Canadian Armed Forces C-130 Hercules with the call sign 'Atlas 42' was in the Dryden area while out on a training flight. They're just leaving Dryden after picking up two crew members who parachuted from the aircraft. Taken this cold (-18C) day of March 5th, 2007.

The Kennedy Family > A Raytheon CT-156 Harvard II with ident 156105 came to Dryden for fuel. The yellow cable on the ground is the fuel trucks bonding cable.
