This is my camera collection. This isn't all of the cameras, just the ones I had time to photograph.

The Kennedy Family > Canon replaced the 20D with a 30D but I did not upgrade to the 30D as the jump from the 20D to the 30D was not worth the price of a new camera. However, the 40D was.

This 10.1 MP DSLR was released in 2007. Attached to the 40D's body is a BG-E2N battery grip and a Tamron 17-50mm 2.8 Aspherical LD XR Di II SP lens. It's a great lens! When I have the battery grip loaded with two batteries, I can shoot forever it seems without worrying about loosing power (usually go about 3 weeks before needing to recharge the batteries).

I used the 40D to shoot all the photos in this gallery but for the photo of the 40D, I used the Canon 20D.

The Kennedy Family > A Sony A100 coupled with a Minolta 35-70mm lens. This 10.2 MP DSLR uses a CCD (versus a CMOS sensor). This model was introduced in 2006.

Traded in Dec of '09 for a Yashica Mat-124G in mint condition.

The Kennedy Family > In August of 2004, Canon released the 20D (8.2 MP) DSLR, replacing the 10D (6.3 MP).

The Kennedy Family > This Canon 10D (6.3 MP) was my first digital SLR and I am glad I ditched my first digital point n shoot and upgraded! Never looked back. The 10D was released in 2003.

The Kennedy Family > This Canon Powershot G5 (5 MP) digital camera was modified to shoot infra red photos - which is why I purchased it. Release date of 2003.

The Kennedy Family > Minolta Maxxum 7 witha Minolta 50mm 1.4 lens. I purchased this film camera in 2002 but the lens was purchased in the mid 1990's.

The Kennedy Family > When I sold (darn it - never forgave myself that) my Pentax K-1000 because I had troubles with my eyes - so a manual focus camera wasn't going to work for me any longer, I ended up getting a Minolta 3xi (released 1991). I soon outgrew it and purchased this Minolta 700si (released 1993) selling the 3xi to friend (the sister of the guy who bought my K-1000 actually).

The Kennedy Family > This Fuji GW670II Profession 6x7 camera is another medium format camera that I have and use. As the name indicates, the negatives you get from this are not square like my Rolliecord TLR or my Hasselblad 500CM - but 6x7 centimeters. I find composing with this MF camera easier due to the negative dimensions. This camera was introduced in 1985, but I have no idea when this one was made.

The Kennedy Family > Leica R4 (this model was made 1980-86 but the serial number indicates it was made in 1983). This Leica was a new compact model based upon the Minolta XD11. The lens as you can see is a Leitz Vario Elmar R 35-70mm lens. One of my favorite cameras.

The Kennedy Family > The Pentax K-1000 had been produced from 1976 to 1997 and was a real favorite as it was a real work horse - the K-1000 remains an excellent camera for student photographers.

This is actually a K-1000 SE (Special Edition?). I could not find any information concerning the SE as far as when it was made but the best I could do is between 1976 and 1990 but would guess it was made early due to the SN (6035689).

The Kennedy Family > The more common (when compared to the Pentax K-1000 SE) Pentax K-1000 (this one was made in Hong Kong 1978-1990). Considering the SN, I would expect this copy to have been made later on - maybe late 1980's but that would just be a guess.

A Pentax K-1000 was my first SLR, a serious upgrade from the 110 camera I was using at the time.

The Kennedy Family > Rollie 35 S with the f/2.8 Sonnar lens. This particular 35 S was made in Singapore between 1974 and 1980.

The Kennedy Family > I was incredibly lucky to be able to purchase this Hasselblad 500 CM (made in 1973) with a 80mm Carl Zeiss lens (made in 1972), a A12 back, split screen focus screen and the view finder for pretty cheap ($200CDN!). I couldn't pass up on this great price.

This camera is a medium format camera that results in square negatives using 120 or 220 roll film (12 or 24 photos) - depending on which film back you used. This particular copy was used in the local photo studio up until a few years ago. I can only imagine how many rolls of film was shot with this camera.

I later purchased an adapter to use that lens on my Canon 40D. I'm not really sure why I did that, but it was fun using that lens on the 40D (hard to focus though when using the 40D).

The Kennedy Family > A Calumet 4x5 field camera.

The photo here was used in the on-line auction where I won this beaut of a camera. I'm not 100% sure of the model but it was reported to me to be a Calumet CC-400, or CC-401. I have since purchased two lenses for this camera, a Graphex 135mm f5.6 and a Symmar 210mm F4.7.
